They saw blood They smelled hate They touched death They heard the clanging of the gate They tasted poison all as Fate Some rose up Some cried out Some staggered wounded --fraught with doubt (hear the shouts?) and... one bore with open heart the whole-- swallowed full this bitter pill sought salvation...came and went sole survivor...broken, spent Still saw all yet followed new scarred and bloodied ....seeking You! where are You? don''t you hear those cries all the pain the fragile "WHY'S"?... Where Are YOU? Have some Mercy Know the Seeker Take that Soul and Hold it in Your Healing Hand You Who Understand... Did not YOU make Man? ~~~~~
