scraps from the past ... just scraps ( prose?)

found words on notebook paper... think it was written several years ago/edited only a bit, don't know what this is, part of a work in progress, not quite begun?/ perhaps someday, a part of the whole story...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~

There was something-- an almost calming, yet saddened part of this person that so touched me. Why? I'm not certain.

There is something about pain that calls out to me to come forth-- and care, love, show kindness ...that I'm not sure I'm capable of-- whether of giving of, or removing of-- oneself.

~~~
I have felt the fiery depths of hell, have been burned beyond...beyond...NO!
not before healing, but-- beyond complete self-- as one, as whole and full...
when one shatters-- not one's world-- one's 'self'-- when the self shatters, oh god...the pieces are so many and the constant work of bending and haphazardly piecing a fragile doll's porcelain porcelain tear stained skin back together is a task no one can imagine who has not fallen-- at the least fallen...
to break is hell. to pull, push, remove, put back, rearrange--
Oh God, Please do not let this happen to anyone else's child! I am your child-- this I know. Do I? I must be or I would not exist-- would not be-- or...?
how does one arrange for plastic surgery of the soul's psyche?
how?...
emotional maelstrom...powerful sweeping lyrics...vivid pain...infuses the senses, shatters the heart. never any easy solutions, though...just scraps...hopefully, in the end, that will be enough...**Mari**
yes, Tien, yes...that is something one gains, in a way... a compassion of sorts and when one can...yes
& Robert, yes, 'thought', intellectual thought used, actually used, i.e. to study something...to use the 'mind', allows one to ease the use of 'emotional thought'...to all of you, thanks, just...truths are each unique and so, in writing one's own truth...another, what? saving 'grace'...many thanks, to all of you...
Lori, thank you, Peg...you, always there and Susan, ah, it, Bless You for what you had to say, also.
these 'scraps'...perhaps a way to get to more 'truth'?
and I am still here...
many thanks...
ah, Love and Light, yes...
Love heals...
Argh - incredible write, writhing in pain...
answers? Only one from me, perhaps - live outside yourself, live for others...sharing and caring for others can heal the personal wounds, even though the scars forever remain.
Oh Micha, This is a travesty of emotions and to become complete afterwards speaks of strength beyone immortality. Your prose is extreme.
Love and light,
Susn
The Ravyn: Riding the Cyclone by Jennifer Sloan by Erin Kelly-Moen
This book has been eight years in the making. It is mostly a jumble of thoughts written down in old spiral notebooks and hidden in the bottom drawer underneath various manuals for software packages and hardware long since turned obsolete.
