borne...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
borne
upon an
ill-bred
star,
holding on
until
no longer
could
you
keep away
the darkness, the
cold.
falling,
landing
on pavement
cracked,
picked yourself
up,
reached
out, cried
to the
heavens...
"it is
not for my
self
i
weep, it
is
for
all
whom
you
have
not
answered,
father!?"
still, you
bowed your
head
and held fast
your
heart, and it
began
to sing.
the heart of a child
once so innocent,
lingers still.
the heart of innocence
stained and torn, yet
with songs left
to sing
for
the hearts
of each borne
as your-
self.
the melodies
bring soft
moonlit grace
to each.
and you now
bear your
self
into places
we may
only
know
through
those sky-
lit
eyes
that
know. too much?
and ask nothing
but a way to
find
home...
You really are an amazing writer. You touch places in me, that I try to keep buried! Thank you for penning work that pushes all the buttons, that we dare not push on our own! ((((Micha))))
A masterpiece, Micha. The creator knows our pain and our footsteps are guided thusly.
