Take me home. Take my heart. You who asked to see this heart. Take and hold it in your hands. Hold it gently, gently, still. Time has left its scars. Take good care of this I give. You may be...You are the one who sees and understands. You who make me see what may be ours.
Take my heart and know it, yes. You who asked to see this heart. Then wish it to the stars. You, who stride through time with hope and care... And, yes, with passions spent and lost yet always knowing who you are. You may never know how many you have taught to dare.
Take me home. We'll grow and soothe and heal and ...and yes, I'll come without that ragged fear. Your Time is new and full, and seems a dream! Yet, still, so real-- so much of life I see here, now with seeded growth. And, Yes, I see, this glimmer here... of how your light, our light may carry us, in time...at last, upstream.
