You’ll Be O.K

Today you awoke,

Drenched by Yesterday’s Tears

Joy Didn’t arrive, so in Ran Your Fears

Trouble met you, as you washed your Face

Self-Doubt Came In and Fought Off Grace

In Weakness you ran to hide from the Mess

But you weren’t looking, and bumped into Stress

Then Misery tackled you, and held you down

And Hope was no where to be found

So you looked at Stress, straight in the eye

You felt so defeated, you started to cry

But as you cried, you said a Prayer

And Suddenly a Miracle showed up there

Then came in Strength to save the day

And the Tears you shed scared Stress Away

So you wiped your tears, then stood Bold and Strong

Then Grace and Mercy Entered the Home

Soon came in Power, Hope and Faith

Then Possibilities filled the Place

They hugged you Tight, as Love walked in

As the Door swung Open for your very best friend

Jesus Himself held out his hands

And told you Self-Pity was not in his Plans

He promised you a Day of Joy and Happiness

Then said, “my child, you’ll always be blessed

No matter how hard the Road may seem

The enemy will not take your Self-Esteem

For you’re protected by the Blood, I’ve shed

All the Sins of your Past are cleansed and dead”

So Jesus kissed you on his Way Out

And told you, you must never Doubt

No matter the Trial, Burden or Circumstance

Your life is Always in his Hands

So don’t let the Devil have his way

You’re gonna be blessed anyway

Cause what’s for you,

No one can take away

Remember that…..
