Rebellion was my game Doing nothing the same I was young and held down Always had my feet planted to the ground Tired and lonely all the time I had never even commited one crime One day I'd had enough mush Got fixed up and went out in a rush Went to a bonfire Guzzeled liquid fire Met a guy that took my breath away Knew that fate had sent him my way In a downward spiral I fell Nothing could break the spell I loved ZZ top, Judas Priest, Def Leppard Iron Maiden, Megadeath, Lita Ford But what drove my mother overboard Was the best, Ozzy Osbourn Doing coke, acid and shrums Doing pot till the room was filled with fumes Drank Jack Daniels, Wild Turkey and Jim Beam Till I was coming apart at the seams My beautiful guy never asked for sex Almost gave me a complex Knew he loved me that was for sure The only thing left in my life that was pure As a young teenager my life almost ended Over the clouds I was eternally suspended When I saw God was when I got a clue In the end I almost got my due With my guys and Gods love I finally rose above I still love my music But the rest, I know where to stick
