Not pain and abandonment

To the point of me feeling
the spray of your spit

Years and years of your let downs

begging me to not let go

When I hit the floor the other day
I was afraid and yet so angry
My mind just screamed, no more
No more..no more..

After years of your abuse and neglect

I'm lower than dirt right now
Smashed under your boot like a bug

Pain feels so real. Sense of betrayal! To me, the poem
applies well to other types of relationships. Parental
betrayal is as devastating, or more. When a close friend
. . .lets not go there. This is about y o u. The poem is
very affecting. . .obviously. Here's to true and lasting
