Love once stilled, forever silent,

          buried 'neath the shallow ground,

heart so shattered, never healing,

          yet, beats...without a sound.

Eyes are shut, but light still follows,

          aimlessly, inside the mind,

only darkness is the window, 

          where the soul is bound.

Feet still shuffling, hands still grasping,

          like a phantom lost in time,

passing through, the shock is reeling,

          in this void, that is so chilling.
