Rage that follows Moon so bright,
Anger driven by the Night.
Sleepy silence of tall trees,
Watch for shadows' fallen leaves.
Lake so still and icy smooth,
Hiding dreams of loss and doom.
Eyes that stare from distant hills,
Will not stop this dreaded chill.
Far beneath the anguished ground,
voices stir, without a sound.
Mangled flowers trapped beneath,
Empty ground wrapped up in grief.
Sunsets fallen out of time,
Stars that race into black skies.
Never telling, never seeking
refuge where the lost are weeping.
