Sailing to the edge of insanity,

Like so many before me have gone.

I’m believed to be hanging on Earth’s rim

A tragedy when Columbus came along.

Is it others who wish me to leave my mind?

For they push like mad to see me move.

Like a flailing ship in the dark, cold sea;

Between mounting waves and fears of the deep,

I struggle to barely hold on.

Can it be my own mentality’s desire

To shudder the droning of life’s constant song?

A wish that pushes its own soul in the sea

And drains the very good of life from me.

that poem is awesome, i like it a lot.
would it be ok if i used it for lyrics in my album?
i am not making money on the album, it wouldnt be used to put any money in my pocket at all.

Edge of insanity....i've stood there more times than i care to think about and whilst reading this, which i have to say is quite a powerful read i've come to the inclusion that its the world thats mad, not always those thats in it... take good care... Mark

Great artwork adds a 'seasoning' to this very well-penned prose ...
