The sweet spice of life falls gently into my lap
As earth’s hues of color surround me.
A cool breeze blows through my hair.
Impregnated by my daydreams,
Encompassed by the night,
I see your face of beauty.
The body of which I do write.
Though reality gives me nothing
I pluck it from imagination’s tree.
All mindful sensations
Cause a flesh filled ambiance in me.
Words upon paper and visions in mind
Are all that autumn’s soul brings.
Loves lost and passion found,
Humor died into the solemn,
And the cool breeze brings me back slowly.
