Good Morning World

“Every day I wake up without a dirt blanket above me is a Good Day,” Is now the manta of my life.

It has served me well through both joy and strife.

It keeps my life in balance no matter how hard things may get

And that is so much better than the constant need to fret.

It took me years to get here, but I have finally arrived

And now take time to ponder all that I survived.

I didn’t make this journey without lots of aide

Most of it came from God, and the sacrifice He made

Sending His Son to die upon that tree

Taking on the sins of the world just to set me free

So World it is a good morning, for both you and I

Because God made it possible for neither of us to die

But to live forever, even after physical life is done

Because eternity for us, Jesus Christ has won.
