If I could build a mountain, I'd build it 'oh so high'.
And in my precious mountain, they'd be memories, all gone by.
Memories are so precious, in very many ways,
they hug us and remain with us every single day.
Bad memories teach us lessons, we never can forget,
Yet push us on a different road we never would have met.
Happy memories make us cry, cradle us as we weep.
Funny ones laugh with us, the humour runs so deep.
If I could build my mountain, I'd build it to the sky,
and deep within the heart of it, the real true me would lie.
