Resonating beneath the bow
The violin sings soft and low
Romantic airs for lovers true
Solemn dirges for mourners who
Walk heads bowed in abject grief
To the sounds of an adagio
Wiping tears to say cheerio.
The lovers listen to their air
They have no mournful, solemn care
The notes the violin plays for them
Transports them to a grassy glen
Where fairies sing and dance with joy
For the love between this girl and boy.

I wonder what type of music your poem speaks of...
Perhaps I hear folk songs?
Or maybe classical...
I especially like the first stanza.

I love your poem, especially the first two lines:
"Resonating beneath the bow...The violin sings soft and low...
For anyone fortunate enough to have drawn a bow over the strings of a violin at one time or another, it brings back the lovely vibrations felt and the emotions its sound can bring forth, in grief or joy. Such a versatile instrument, and a lovely write. Thank you for sharing this.
