Child Abuse is a Horrible Nightmare that Children have to endure. No one knows their pain that they suffer, only the ones that lived through the Nightmare. Sometimes it haunts them for the rest of their lives, sometimes the pain is so deep they pretend it did not happen. Who will protect the Children.

                                        A Touch of Innocence

A touch of Innocence

Sweet as a flower

Beautifull when the flower Blooms

The fragrance is like unto pure honey

Wonderful melodies from the small sparrow sining his song

Whom has the right to violate the innocence?

Not allowing someone to blossom like the flowers do

The sun will be in her place

But some innocence will be blinded from her light

Where are the roads that the innocence travel?

If the innocence would be robbed of their paths

So then they would lost and sometimes forever

Where does hope exist?

When they only give the innocent fear and told lies

Then they probably can not have faith

Tommorrows suppose to be filled with promises and dreams

How could it be when they end up with broken promises

Nightmares, that is their daily life

They have to hide it from the world

And pretend that it never happened

When does the innocent be protected form harm?

So that they can be free to laugh and play

The innocent is our tomorrow

If we do not love them

Stand with them

Guide them with all our might

We would then be violating our innocence

A well written poem that expresses the realities of child abuse.Child abuse is one of the most awful and horrible things that any child can go through. No child on the face of this earth deserves any type of child abuse from a family member.take care
