Boxcars & highways Seduced me when young Now windows & memories My world is at hand A glimpse of yesterday A taste of today A glimmering tune Sounding so far away I once climed high mountains Skipped across sea Yet today I watch raindrops Who dance just for me Time passing in leaps Sunsets grandstanding in sprees Does tommorow await me? Or does she flee? Dreams escape me Like sand slipping through hand Colors and lightscapes, yesterday grand Today melt into bland I ran with the stallions Of the painted desert land Today I watch raindrops Fall upon hand Time melts, leaves fall My day is at hand I once roamed as a stallion On painted desert land
