I'm on the outside looking in I have been here my entire life! How do I get inside from here? Help, please someone tell me the way I have been here my entire life Nose pressed tightly against the window in little boy fashion and form How do I get inside from here? Can I get in from here? I have been here outside my entire life from my adoption on I have been lost since then noone came back for me I thought I had found the key but lost it quickly I have always been careless and clumsy that way It is lonely out here Yet looking on the bright side It is familiar terrain Hence proving this saying to be true Every cloud indeed does have a silver lining! But yes, I'll confess I always wanted to be inside........

yes, oh, you wonderful and kind poet/writer...a heart so big, it will alaways long, I suppose...but know, you make another, frightened and 'wanting to be on the inside'....feel so not alone...

Candidly expressed. Makes me relate. There's something about accepting what we can't change...and there just might be something to finding what you wanted lost its appeal once you got it.
