Everyone needs the assurance that someone cares about them, which helps to develope a positive attitude towards life and others
I care about sick who has been left to die alone who faces the fear of the unknown and uncertainty I care about that abused child who is distraughted and confused Who turns to wrong place for refuge I care about that homeless man who is discarded by society He wonders aimless on streets in such of food to eat I care about that individual who has given up hope And is on the verge of committing suicide I care about the single mother who does not have food for her kids She has to sell her body on the streets just to make ends meet I wish i could help the whole world but i can only say a prayer maybe we all need to care to make the world a better place for all Copyright 2009 Milton Handfield

Milton... when one has nothing but "a prayer"....that to me is the greatest gift. If everyone stopped for a minute and said a prayer for someone else, can you imagine the wonders that could be passed along? It makes me smile to think that someone would say a prayer for me...but since I can't count on that...I pray for me...and for many others as well... Very thoughtful write.. hugs, lindalaw

Wonderful message here and the frankness with which you express it.
If I had wealth to leave I would not give it to a dog, but set up a place for refuge, no matter how humble - for these "uncared for" of society.
