This is a freestyle poem I just wrote on Monday January 11,2016 which I have entered into a poetry contest.
It’s What You Notice
Winds Temptations daring whispers beneath a stubborn winter’s sky.
The olden sky its mealy tricks, the winds sped on by me lowly.
Often drops mystifying the sounding air, surrounds.
Today it’s liken the sky hath copied and pasted ongoing.
The steps often traces that’s reflected in the shadows upon the water.
It’s not what you see, it’s how you think it.
Notice the hills how they slope on and on never ending.
Footsteps brief thoughts you walk somewhere planted.
Now the leaf it just hangs there dangling into the blowing gusts of winds.
Nothing can harm what’s strong or stubborn, that is you imprinted.
It’s not the way you think or feel, but it is how you know it should be.
Like steps it’s all left, deep the tracks on the white snow falls.
Winds tempting, it pulls and tries gathering powers that are.
Shalt thy soul exalt when weaken?
Only whence it came from thus it all approaches.
What you notice it quickly draws interest of you heart and thoughts.
Like a daydream sits there staring at you, so is this the frames of time.
It stood like hard walls of concrete what you taught so well.
It’s what you notice first place and last never traded.
Instead it’s what you notice through eyes spirit and mind, the eyes see it.

Apparently, you noticed a lot to write this poem about your experiences. I can see where the avant-garde in poetry may like it and give it an award in the contest, I found it to be rather eclectic and allover the place.
