I wrote this on 22 June 2000
As I crossed the vastness of the blue sea, I looked above, Oh God, hear my plea! With the waves, and the taste of salt, I lye on my back on my raft. Not knowing what lie below, for I cannot see. For days and days I float adrift, like a wind swept weed, Oh God, where can I be? For the length of days and nights seem very long, yet I must be strong. Over the horizon I'm sure there's hope, a land beyond, that troubled sea.
