Which seems more noble to you, to hear someone say "I am an Adventist Seven Days" or "I am a Seven Day Adventist?" Read on... .
While visiting a Seventh-Day Adventist Church I was asked by a Seventh-Day Adventist, "Are you a Seventh-Day Adventist?" I replied, "I am an Adventist seven days." The questioner, somewhat taken aback, smiled and inquired, "What do you mean?" I said, "I am an Adventist seven days, meaning I am an Adventist every day of the week."
Without getting into a theological discussion based on the Bible or some other source to establish what is the correct day for Christians to worship, if there is one, or just one, or whether the first day or the seventh day of the week is the correct day for Christians to assemble for worship, I want to state categorically that the purpose of this discourse has nothing to do with such discussion. Here, I want to declare unequivocally and without hesitation or reservation that I am an Adventist seven days a week - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What does it mean to be or who is an Adventist? Advent means the coming or arrival of and presence, as manifested in a new day. Each day I announce in various ways, "This is the day the Lord has made." Every day for me is an advent, a new day, the first day of the rest of my life and, in a certain way, the only day of the rest of my life. This is the only day in which I have presence. It is in this God-consciousness that I am an Adventist seven days.
Worship is what and who I am, worship is what I do. It is my lifestyle no less than my daily breathing and feeling. Therefore, I cannot set aside a particular time whether it is the first day or the seventh day to worship and be intimate with God. As His child I am in daily contact with Him. In this Cosmic House where I live there is not an absentee Father. My Father is Presence. It is in this consciousness that I worship Him. What an advent that is!
My purpose for being alive is twofold: (1) to glorify God and (2) to do soul-completion work. This dual purpose of my life requires nothing less than I be an Adventist seven days a week, every week. In my relating with God there is no such thing as quality time without quantity time, full time, and all the time. Each day I endeavor to do a new thing, sing a new song and pursue self-discovery that add to the consciousness of myself, humankind and the Cosmos.
Hopefully, it is now clear to and easy for the reader to understand why I consider myself to be an Adventist Seven Days a week, not just on the first day or seventh day as many Christians declare themselves to be. Maybe I am not a nominal Christian. What do you think?

THOUGH NO ONE CAN DISPUTE THE FULL, UNEQUIVOCAL, TRUTH THAT THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK IS THE TRUE SABBATH...ONE CAN ALSO PLAINLY SEE THAT THERE IS MORE TO SERVING GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS, MINDS AND SOULS THAN JUST RECOGNIZING THIS TRUTH ON THAT ONE DAY. When one believes and follows their choice of religion on a daily basis that can only be a good thing. In God's house all are welcome and in having faith makes each new day a blessing to serve. Well done....
Puts me in mind of Daniel's experience with God. During the reign of Darius the other pollies tried to bring him down by pointing out that he was doing something that should be offensive to the King.
