So you want to know "Who I am?"
I know you want to know Who I am?
because you have asked me, some not
so important questions about myself,
including "What do you do? Where are
you from? What brought you to this city?
Are you married? And you have even
wanted to know "How old I am?"

During the more than thirty years I
lived in Calfornia John Jett and I were
colleagues. Whenever people asked him
trivial questions, such as the ones above,
he rsponded, "How will that help you?"
I cannot recall a single questioner who
answered John to his satisfaction. I was
so greatly  impressed by his response that
I adopted his mantra.

Who I am? Gladly, I'll tell you. I am who
the One who knows me better than I know
myself says who I am. He is the One who
created me. Here is who the One who said
during Creation "Let there be light."And there
was and is light that no thing has been able
to extinguish. Almighty God says who I am.
He says:
1. I am chosen,
2, I am the light of the world,
3. I am one of His peculiar people.
4. I am the head, not the tail,
5. I am blessed and favored,
6. I am a child of God embodying the the Kingdom,
7. I am spirit-possessed,
8. I am redeemed through the power of
   God's one and only Begotten Son Jesus,
9. I am God's beloved who can love God,
10. I am an earthbound heavenly troubadour
      bound for Heaven where I will enjoy what
     "No eye has seen,
      no ear has heard,
      no mind has conveived
      what God has prepraed for those
      who love him."

Now you know who I am,
Yes, my name is Uriah J. Fields. I am a
clergyman, author, troubadour, and
lover of nature.

But God's answer to the question "Who
I am?" is a much better answer than my
answer.

Sometimes I declare, even sing, "If Anyone
Wants to Know who I am Listen to My Story
and You will Hear Me Say I Am a Child of God"
You see that is God's answer as to who I am.
Call me by any of the names God says I am
and I will answer without equivocation or
hesitation.
I AM WHO GOD SAYS I AM.

If Anybody Here Wants to Know
Who I Am

(Refrain) This is the way I introduce myself.

If anybody here want to know who I am,
listen to my story and you will hear me say
time and time again "I am a child of God."

1. God is my Father and Savior too. And I am
His and He is mine. I"ve been adopted into
the family of God. I am an heir to the
Kingdom of love.

2. My Father is awesome and mighty God,
He accepts all who comes to HIm. So if
you're up for adoption you need not wait.
Come on now and be saved today.
