Cold December
by Dale Hudgins Copyright 2001-2004
Wandering in this cold place, where no one treads,
I see the trail of many tears,
The happenstance of memories, strewn,
Time is on hold, here, nothing matters,
Nothing is real,
Heavy, is the burden of a life of dreams,
The hope of, love filled days,
My companion, through this ordeal,
Are the longings of a new world,
With you,
Walking hand in hand,
Through this life,
Warming, this and the yet to come,
Cold Decembers.
Thanks for sharing.
