Because I have been lost I can find you Because I knew when I was lost I know how To find you, Pick you up, put you into The promised self I have lost And regained so often I can be a needle For your drift I call into this darkness And remind you to the light Because I have been lost And you must do the Same.

I have trouble in understanding this poem. Perhaps Ron's assumption may be right.

You are writing about the "found," in the lost and found. Says a lot about experience and the wisdom derived from it.
