The world is really getting better all the time. I agree that there are those that still seem to want to divide us with hatred, but that is actually decreasing worldwide.
The problem really is that the media is now so omnipresent and powerful that it is revealing, almost instantaneously, problems that have been there all along, but neglected because they had no stage to present their case. That has changed drastically in just the last few years.
Privacy, where all those secrets were nicely hidden, is now nearly extinct, making vivid revelations a daily occurrence in an unbelieving world.
