Don't think I can reach your heart, I can only touch your soul, make your life momently whole, but your heart won't ever know. Don't think I can change your life, I can only make your day, bring a laugh or two your way, but you'll never know my name. Don't believe that I'm 'The One', I don't think you really do, I'm a shadow haunting you, but we'll never see it through. Don't think I can't feel your hurt, I can feel you fall away, when your heart beats, as you wake- to not know me- for one more day. Don't think I'm not really there, I just want to touch your soul, make your life momently whole, and pray someday your heart will know.
