This is in honor of a recently published anthology called Cosmic Brownies...a collection of poems about life's lessons learned from Sun Rising Poetry Press. An anthology I had the pleasure of editing.

 

Learning life's lessons is never easy
Makes hearts beat faster; makes stomachs queasy!
Some lessons learned are painful and tough
Dealing with consequences can be really rough.

But still we move on, one step at a time
Heaven's light at the top of the stairs that we climb
When the day comes around that we are at the top
Is the day learning lessons of life then will stop.......

Don't question the path that God's given to you
It's not our place to wonder, we must give Him his due
All the tough times you handled will give you the pride
To lay down your burdens and sit at His side.
