Past and future prevent me from experiencing the joy that is in me in this moment. |

Holding to past,
as if it were present.
Fearful of future,
and coming resentment.
Controlling from past
and limiting now,
prevents me from being
this moment, somehow.
I want presence peace.
Yet out of my grasp,
I've seen it fleeting,
Come back to me now.
In all present moment,
don’t leave me weeping.
Release the joy,
I know is within me.
Not for a moment,
but for all my life keeping.
