Propensity For Truth

The older I get
the stronger the propensity
to live and to maintain
Truth in my heartand my life.

The older I get
the more passion I see,
the more beauty
to behold in the valuable
lessons of yesterday.

The older I get
the more my strength gains
from the horrible strains of
life’s burdens that enter
all of our lives.

The older I get
the more understanding and
wisdom to draw from.
God given, mortally bound...
A sound in the solace of
this great universe.

The older I get
the wider the vision of spirit.
Blinders removed, sights cleared
above and beyond things
appearing to be so near
to the heart of all dreams...

The older I get
the stronger the propensity
to live and to maintain
Truth, it seems.
