An Artist at Her Easel

Patient...
At her easel
Daubing midnight into shades
Holding warmly to a memory
Before the shape of him fades.

Collecting visuals...
From her palette
Strokes in acetylene ...passions glow
Creating this infinity
A canvas rich in love's after flow.

She hums...
Their song of rhythm
Perpetuated in love's moving tune
Quietly she acquieces
Her canvas lives beneath a liquid moon.

Slowly...
She sways to loving
A dance of creatures' spirit strong
Creating bliss for a lifetime
Amor immortal...
Just where love belongs.
