Comforting ambitions,
whisking our fears abroad,
shelter from uncertain;
what plans been made by God.

Mend a small quandary;
parcels of vexation
expound ascendancy.
Our life tribulation.

Come and go, it does, time
a pace and route it's own,
built up goals, nullify.
Gyrate who warms the throne.

Means of calculating
seconds, minutes, hours,
a comfort for dreaming,
free will holds what is ours.

Sans demur, I'm divest
ambitions impotent.
Robbed certainty, attest!
Unseen moments, lament.

Moments now hallowed;
every breath, devour!
Chagrin, the world method:
overlook 'tween hours.
