Thoughts of You

I wrote this poem back when I was 14 yrs. old. I figured that when I found Mr. Right he'd know exactly what it meant. And when I met my husband David he knew what it meant and said that I wrote it just for him, and in a way I did. We've been together now for 23 wonderful years and still going strong. He is my soul mate.

 Do you feel the rain,

Does it touch your soul,

How do you feel inside,

Oh, do you know.

Pure and clean like a dream,

It's so special as the rain,

When your around I feel no pain,

Pure and clean like a dream,

The rain can make a mind,

Feel so relaxed and free.

To be like honey to a bee,

Or like leaves to a tree,

You are so special,

To be for someone like me.

Sweet poem. And congrats for being together all those years. Puts my idea of writing something for the mysterious one back in the front of my mind.
