Beautiful Jasmine
There was beautiful Jasmine
Who,
One day,
Stole my heart.
I gave her love,
I gave her affection.
Heaven was on earth.
Daily,
On the land of joy,
I was carried away
By passion
And devotion.
Then, came her conditions!
In a mellifluous tone,
She confirmed
Her love for me,
Her desire
To live with me forever;
But she was also craving
For splendor,
Wealth
And power.
She wanted
To shine regardless.
Each of her wishes
Slashed my heart that,
Slowly,
Filled of icy water.
And froze
And changed into stone,
Forever...Maybe...
