Jasmine,

Once my beautiful jasmine,

Wanted me

To shine regardless.

For an eternity,

I’d thought,

In the silence of

My stony heart,

Of the way I could have pleased

I’ve to be

Other than what I am.

For, what have I done,

In this world,

That deserves

Discredit

Or admiration,

Disrespect

Or veneration?
