                                        "Pieces Of The Melodies"

                                    The clock forever a quarter till three
                                    hands still

                                    Starry skies bodies of planets
                                    pass dark space in one direction

                                    Pieces of the melodies aura
                                    the stereos romantic beat 
                                    fill our hearts a flutter

                                    Window glows with fireflies
                                    forever a quarter till three

                                    Dawn of the day to stay in
                                    and sip a cup of tea

                                    Pieces of the melodies aura
                                    hearts a flutter

How remarkable it is that some melodies can sound like, or resemble, memories. It's those 'pieces of the melodies' that find a place in our hearts and souls that bring the listener the greatest joy. And may the fragrance of those melodies blow upon others, as well, to bless and inspire them as they did you. Enjoyed. Peace to you...

The illustration tells a lot that the poem seems to try to relate. However, some of it I don't get.

Ahhh . . . "Pieces of the melodies aura / hearts a flutter" pretty much says it all, Mary Ann, but the leading verses which preceded those two lines set the stage and enhanced them even more so.
