hell is loneliness
never to say
what comes to mind
stopped dead at the lips
trapped in a bottle
of spirits
trapped in a tube
of smoke
sulfur and smog
sex offered
but never delivered
ever teased
by my own mind
brick walls
that won't give way
to the fist
mirrors that show
no reflection
a city
with no friends
a page
with no lines
sometimes
it's not as bad
"give us another, brad"
and i give
without getting it back
always bowing
the curtain
never closes
the mask
never comes off
