Amazingly eloquent. I could have written it myself...almost as if you were reading my thoughts about my own 'Rose'. In fact, I WISH I'd written it, so perfectly does it capture the essence of which you write. Kudos for a most expressive and finely crafted paean of deepest affection...
Lonnie this is such a unique poem. To be the inspriation of poetry, those who are poetic could wish for no greater honor or caress. Yes this is the way it is with poetic souls they give and receive paper roses which are more precious and fragrant than the flower.
I am new to your sight, but will return often. The words you write form a strong relationship between the writer and the one to receive the beautiful words you have written to them in what seems to be an effortless flow from your golden quill. This is a mini masterpiece!
