My pockets are full
  front left
  has sweet kisses
chocolate drops
sugary memories
and summer nights-
music
always music-
dancing nights
garden delights

and you

line that pocket
my Memory Stash.

Front Right
I’ve regrets,
opportunities missed
hungry eyes
looking inside
from the outside
the back of you
and others too
gone with that distant
throng
of past friends and lovers
who crossed my path
now gone
having sweetly drifted
away to some other shore
but somehow remaining nonetheless
pocketed
here with me
my pocket caress.

The back bulging
left
is filled with sand
spilling away
through a tiny hole;
my hour glass
retinue;
my past

 future
and present urgencies.

I reach in sometimes
sifting through
passages
comings and leavings
smiles
tearful eyes
fears and triumphs
heart felt
massive illusions;
wonderful times

and bad times
good ones gone
and regretted
bad ones gone
unrequited

My pocket there is full
of chances taken
won and lost.

My last pocket-
my back cavity
has a single note which says
Lived Life and  Loved it;
Lived Enough Life
for any man.
