Think For Yourself, Not Others

Insecure others like to do their thinking for you,

But you must realize they are in the few,

Only you should think for yourself,

Visualize in your mind who you really are,

And you might be surprised and this will take you far,

Don’t fall into that trap that others want to set,

And I am willing to bet,

Deep down inside you might find yourself,

So when you think you have nothing left,

Try harder, and find that spark in your heart,

Sometimes we do get caught,

In the web of life we weave,

But you must never leave,

Your soul behind,

You will soon find,

We are all very much alike,

Despite all the fights,

And the labels others mark on your mind,

You will soon find,

We really want the same thing,

Love, not fear…
