Light is essential for life

and a metaphor for truth

that brings happiness to mind.

The concept of God is linked to its roots.

Debate exists over how it originated.

Loveless people seek to cover it.

The element is often abused

by unscrupulous persons

who don’t want others discovering it.

Because light is concealed

we don’t know who killed Martin Luther King.

The same can be said about J.F.K.

That president wanted the freedom bell to ring.

People choose to shield light

because they don’t care for the lives involved.

Such could care less

about the loved ones

who want the closure

that results

from getting their mysteries solved.

The streets cover over light,

Hence, snitching is no-no number one.

“I” is loved more than other people.

What matters most in their eyes is money and fun

Certain religious leaders abuse light

so that they can exploit people for their cash.

Some of the biggest crooks are preachers.                     

Perceptive people can see when there’s a mask.

Let’s not forget politicians

who conceal light to get into office

and shed it to destroy their opponents

Few of these ones are really for the people

Light is definitely essential for life

It’s also a misunderstood metaphor for truth

Too bad lying is in vogue.

Lies have evil, Satanic roots.
