My Life Since You

For and about my grandson Parker

My life became full when you arrived


Missing your little face and watching you thrive


Looking at the pictures I have on the wall


My heart becomes lonely... the tears start to fall


With each passing day I miss you more


Wanting to see you and hold you once more


But, alas its not up to me


Maybe someday they all will see


But for now, I hold off and wait


Hoping and praying for that special date


Just know NaNa loves you with all her heart


But for this while we must be apart.
