And lost your very-best friend?

Have you ever heard a beautiful song

And wished that you were there?

Remember the first time you saw your child

Not wanting that moment to end?

Have you ever heard a baby cry

And no clue how to tend?

Remember back when you were hugged real tight

Not wanting the feeling to end?

Have you felt your life was meaningless

Just wanting it to end?

Remember all the things you did

And all the postcards that you sent?

Look back at your life and smile now;

Because it did not end.
