You stand there so proudly, this thing of the wild
So peaceful you look, so meek and so mild
Standing so somber on that ledge you appear
Frightened, yet curious, why my heart holds you dear
The moon is the backdrop of your silhouette
Your beauty and grandeure I will never forget
Those two brilliant orbs pierce through to my soul
Knowing immediately that you make me whole
Waiting in awe for your nightly song
My eyes fills with tears, my heart starts to long
To me you are saying that our souls are one
You beckon; "Soulmate come join me, together we’ll run"
"We will see life together, just you and I"
My heart skips a beat, as I begin to cry
Here I must stay for a few short days
Forever in my dreams, together we’ll play
The day will come that this life is no more
But together we’ll run on that golden shore.
