On the Sun terrace
overlooking the river “Sunkoshi.”
We breakfasted,
in the company
of the humming birds
and the mewing cats
with a toast of our lips.
Fertile village, organic villagers
big banyan trees, mustard flowers
swaying with the breeze.
Unspoiled shores, intersected with
Sugar Cane sticks.
It was the nature
that dictated
the pace of our lips there.
It streamed through the Pipal tree
and illuminated every corner of our core.
Oh! What a wonderful time we had
in a village stamped with nature’s aristocracy
What a time we had
- there is always looking back.
