An original poem. ----------
sandpiper dreams running together near the waves. back and forth footprints formed in sand to be washed away by the sea. then to take flight clumsily when the sun calls them home again. and the beach becomes quiet. i awoke to see one bird, running back and forth in the moonlight. i awoke

to see one bird,

..isn't it uncanny..you and I see only the One..be it in a face, or bird...the voice calls..it seems we are deaf..*smile*

Yes! I painted a lonely Sandpiper darting in and out of the water...I can still see his little head bob like it did that day when I snapped his picture. He was the best thing I've brought home from my beach walks in years.
