Pigs

Pigs

They like their food
and sleep in a sty
one became a general
in George Orwell's
Animal Farm.

It's a shame
they have to come
to harm; dispatched
to the slaughterhouse
to become pork and ham.

Some fortunate little pigs are becoming house pets now, and the unfortunate ones will end up on a plate for our dinner.
