I never ventured into Denmark. My poison has always been Rhine wine, the lesser of that noble Riesling grape immigrated all the way to California and grown by Italians to be proferred cheaply to the masses like me.
And all of these years sweetening my evening meal it has never helped my understanding of German at all.
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
And all of these years sweetening my evening meal it has never helped my understanding of German at all.
