authentication, verification,
get out of it! Find that quiet spot.
So long global nomads, airports
and railway stations,
smart phones and internet cafes
striking up conversations with expats.
I'll do a bit of gardening, visit the local library,
everything will be according to me
in my own space at home, no more rented flats.
Never again apply for a right to roam
over an earth that once had no countries or borders
I'm not a going out person anymore,
now, I'm stopping at home.
Sounds like a very retiring thing to do. Unfortunately, I've been there for some time. I miss the adventure, the serendipity that comes from meeting strangers in new places. But there comes a time when you must give up all that and take care of business at home.
