I must be an old rocker myself. But every night when I listen to some singer or another, while I love the tenacity of some of these old geezers still touring, I want to listen to them at earlier venues where they had more energy and produced their greatest hits.

Yet I find that new performers can't seem to duplicate the clarity and the lyrics of the earlier old rockers. Perhaps it's because my hearing is nearly gone and it is only my mental memory of those hits that allows me to listen to them like they were originally done.
