Moth Beautiful moth, from a place of love; Full of colour, full of pattern and design, We see it flying towards our window light and care for its incidental, haphazard flight. For we are all moths to a flame, Not knowing from where we came. We fly our flags and seek the light, Moth-men even in the United States. Moth-ladies, painted butterflies, Our dreams appear at night. This world is just by the by; Ah! little flyers, tiny pilots, good night!

I learned recently that butterflies and moths are basically the same. I guess the primary distinction is that butterflies love the bright sun. While moths are more nocturnal but seek light, too. Perhaps, preferring the moon over the sun
